when i am driving my 95 mtx down the road, everything is fine, but when i let off the throttle to slow down, the car gets jerky. it also does it when i get back on the throttle. it doesnt matter what speed i am going or what gear i am in. its pretty bad when i am driving the car slow, on and off the throttle alot. i wouldnt think this is too healthy on the motor mounts or torque limiters either. i have cleaned the iac and maf sensors and this wasnt the problem. 60k has been done with a bunch of other things replaced, about $2500 worth of parts all together. there is no codes and the ses light has not come on at all while driving. tried unhooking the battery for about a half hour or so a couple times to reset the computer and it doesnt get any better at all. still acts the same. any mtx owners experiencing the same problem or did experience this problem? is this a common problem with these cars and what is usally the fix? thanks.

Have you checked all the mounts already? Could also be something like the MAF, try driving with it unplugged.

i checked all the mounts when i did the clutch job and they all looked good. i dont have any power issues and there doesnt seem like there is any play in the drive train. the car has great power and it drives great. the CE light has not come on at all since i did all the work to the car and all my grounds are good. i havent tried unplugging the maf but i will give it a try. the only times it jerks on me is when i let of the gas pedal completely to slow down and when i get back on the gas to speed back up. it just doesnt have that smooth off and on throttle transition. its just jerky. light throttle and anywhere in between full throttle is fine. it almost seems like the vss not keeping the rpm's up when you let off the gas. this is the only issue with the car and it is really annoying. any other ideas or do you think it could be the vss?
