My white 90 has the premium sound in it. My red 90 parts car has the JBL setup. Does anyone know what's involved in swapping the stuff over? Is it plug and play or will I have to modify stuff? Thanks in advance!

I know JBL stuff will swap right into premium sound equipped 2nd gens, but I'm not sure about 1st gens.

Regardless, a decent headunit and some new speakers and you can probably equal, if not better, the JBL system.

I likely wouldn't be worth your time. Any stock sound system, no matter what company attaches their name to it, is generally inferior to what a few hundred dollars can provide assuming you shop for used equipment and look for good deals. The amount of work to move the JBL system over wouldn't be worth the gain in SQ

Yes you can swap it over. You will need to pull ALL the JBL wiring from the parts car to get it to work though.
