okay the other day when I kicked the driverside rear tire, the housing made a bad metal to metal clunking noise and today I noticed that the wheel/tire is at an angle (top in a little bit). I know that I need to do springs and struts since they are broke anyway but is this problem alignment or do I have failing bearing... It does not make any noise when I am driving it, though.

You're definitely going to have to jack up the driver-side rear and have someone move the wheel around as you watch from the inside.
Let us know what you find.
Good luck.
Lou.
