Hi Terry:

Well, that didn't last too long.

Always enjoyed following your L stuff on f150online and I wish you best of luck with the Stang.

BTW, you will now have to update your sig/photo on f150 as it still shows the SHO as your ride.

Based on what you did with the L, I assume that you just couldn't figure how to make a 2010 SHO competitive in anything but a straight line.

Until I joined this Forum, I had no idea of the vast number of earlier SHO owners who compete in track racing and I hope to see some owners here that give that venue a shot. Mind you, this is not exactly the same type of vehicle as the earlier SHO variants but if it will get into the 12's in the 1/4 mile I am sure there are those that will try the road race circuit.

Regarding SHO U UP's remarks, if you think this Forum is rough, I can tell you that f150online could get very brutal and from what little "lookie lou's" I have done on some of the Mustang forums when I was looking to buy a Shelby at a huge discount last year, those guys just don't take prisoners, period.

I like it here.

Bill

The SHO is a very nice car. If I had the spare change for a 3rd ride, i'd keep it. The car is great to drive, quiet, plenty of power when it's needed.

Are those 285's on the rear? With those bigger tires and rims, your car probobly feels like your dragging a boat anchor. Ive got an 06 GT with 255's up front and 285's out back and I can feel the extra weight. But, the car handles alot better.

Hey Bill,
I know any of the forums can be rough, as I'm on several. The F150online one, eh, I never really got into. I guess there are just way too many "F-150s" out there and any Joe Schmoe can afford one. Same goes the the 'Stang forums. Everyone wants one, blah blah blah. I've been on here for years and have had 8 SHOs under my belt. I'm faithful to this site and Lightning Rodder and pop on the others once in a while. SVT and SHO owners I feel are a certain group of people not like many others. They understand the performance that comes right from the factory for their vehicles, and that they are not like the others. These owners I feel are faithful and will always remember being an owner of that cetain year SHO, Lightning, or Cobra. I know Terry was getting some "jive" at the start but he held his own though. Especially being a new guy on the forum, he didn't need to catch any grief from anyone who wasn't doing the same to their car. And NO ONE was testing his car like he was. But, now that he has been bit by the "SHO bug", he'll have another one day. Mark my words.

and for those that may know someone, the car can be bought for $35,995 with or without the powdercoated wheels on the car.

(the owner took the wheels and dvd players for his personal demo)

The dvd's can be put back for another $500. $36,495. They were $1800

The car can also come with or without the tune on it as well. It also has the tinted lenses and the clear bra too. :)

Progress springs for lowering, and Tokico D-Specs. You'll love the ride, and the lowering height is perfect.

Go with down, I think you'll like it better.

lol, i think lowering dictates down already lol,

i ended up ordering some steeda ultra lites for now.

modest drop in the front of 1" and 1.25" rear.

i'll probably end up with a nice coil over setup in the summer.

For now, i'm doing all the control arms, and shifter, and panhard and stuff this weekend, so i figured i'd do the springs for now

$240 and i can get most $150 of it back when i switch
