more rubber, more HP.....
At rpms over 4000 it is very difficult to shift from 1st ==> 2nd and from 2nd ==>> 3rd. I literally have to wait until rpms drop below 4000 before it will go into gear.

It is an MTX with ~150k, never rebuilt. Clutch/PP/TOB are new less than 2500 miles. I've tried all kinds of tranny ATF fluids without remedy (Mobile 1, Royal Purple, GM syncromesh, etc.).

Is this a synchro or blocking ring problem or something else?

sounds very similar to the problem i'm having as well ... i almost have to slam it into gear. i adjusted the pedal by lifting up on it, i'll have to check and make sure it dosent have excess slack though.

usually dosen't just 3rd do that? is it common for it to happen to the other gears all at once? i'm wondering if it just isnt a shifter problem.
