Is it possible to replace air vents (1994) without removing the dashboard?

Sorry if it's a repost. I searched and couldn't find anything.

Anyway, 2 of my vents are broken. My parts car has the ones that I need, and I want to pull them and install them on the driver. But I can't see any way to remove them from the front. Is this possible? Or am I just going to have to live with it as it is now?

Replacing the vents on the driver side and center require pulling the gauge bezel. I don't remember how the passenger side one comes out.

So I guess they have to go out from behind? Is it maybe accessible through the stereo panel or the glove box?

The right side can come out from the front. It just has little pins on the side that hold it in.

Take a butter or putty knife and gently press it between the bezel and the dash. I forget, but I think there are on pins on the side, but it's been awhile since I've replaced a couple.

The dash bezel is easy to pull to get at those (center and left side).

Are there step by step instructions on removing the instrument bezel without breaking it? I'm sure it's not as simple as removing those 3 screws on the underside above the gauges, right?

You also have to remove the kick panel below the steering column, and there are a couple of bolts under there, also (going from 5-year memory here).

Some folks have removed the bezel without removing those two(?) bolts, and they break them off. One of my Gen 2s was this way.

Once you remove the various screws, there are a couple of pins that keep it aligned - they have little keepers on them, so you still have to sort of pry it off the dash - just keep everything straight and you won't damage anything.
