Alright..this is my idea.. im very tired of looking at my foggy headlights- i was thinking one day...rnt mustangs kinda like SHO's at least the headlights are.. only the 5.0 stangs are- years 89-91... anyhow i was looking on the web for some projector lights for that year of mustang- i found some they are still kinda expensive but if it works itll look phat.. now i know the stang headlights have different mounting but what if u buy the headlight mounting brackets from the stang and put it on the SHO or just buy the headlights and mount them somehow- havent really thought about this to much... but i think its possible and was wondering if you guys had any tips or more ideas of what is possible.. the lamp itself is very similair to the SHO lamp the only thing is different is the turn lamp on the stang is smaller so i would have a bigger gap by the middle which i could make a new front piece possibility.. let me know what ur thoughts on it..

I`m very suprised that noone has not just gotten a couple of projector beams from Walmart and fabbed them into the lense.

I think it was Herman Anker up in Canada (??) who has totally redone his lamps - custom housings, everything. After seeing the HIDs in my car, I was looking at the styling of the newer "Angel Eyes" BMW light housings & wondered if the body shop could do a conversion like that easily enough.

Maybe I should go take a test drive of a new Bimmer with a tape measure & a string. Try explaining that one. :)

I'm working on doing Herman's design of a H4 lens mated to the stock headlight assembly. It's going to be a minor pain to get it working... I'm probably going to regret doing it :) but it should pay off in the end... Only thing I need to do is find a strong reliable way to mount the H4 4x6" assemblies to the stock headlight (no small feat since the headlight assembly isn't 4" tall!) and then probably fiberglass it down. The only major concern is that I need to find clear GTS headlight covers... that'll be hard I'm sure.

I have used a separate projector from a new car with a good beam pattern. I retroed it into my housing and it had provided pretty good light distrobution. (Although, the are still the crappy gen 1 housings)
