Welcome! One thing I've learned with these cars is they are higher maintenance than most other cars but they are rewarding to drive. I use mine as a daily driver, family hauler, toy, recently a pick-up, I draw the line at mounting a trailer hitch but otherwise a very capable and all around fun car. with 55k hopefully the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) and the Rear Differential Unit (RDU) along with the transmission have had their fluids changed. If not or if youre unsure, those are extremely important to a happy long lasting SHO and should be serviced every 20k-35k (not sure on the ford spec but intervals vary here on the forum, I'm personally shooting for 25k). I always recommend trying to get service records from ford to see if the proper work was done early in the cars life, other than that feel free to browse/post to the forum when a problem arises, they have their corks for sure but this place is full of real enthusiasts that are good people willing to help. A solid resource here thats worth reading through is this thread SM105K's Ownership Thread it details the fluid changes and some other things to look for. Good luck!
