well i thought it was the rear cam seal,so i pulled the usual gear out of the way n poped the can sensor off in about 10 mins, mmm no leak.so i pulled the upper cover n its fairly dry (186500 miles)it,s dripping on to the cats and tranny(ATX) like a rear cam seal but the area above the cam seal is oilsoaked too???i do not believe the PO did a upper 60 but there is a new timing belt n water pump, the cps looks fresh. this car did sit for about 4-5 mons, are the valve cover gaskets known for drying out,the weird part is its only oily over the rear cam seal area and p/s pump ,but not leaking on the exhaust man>!!HELP!!:nut:

I think I had your same problem.... Chech the valve cover gasket in that corner next to the cam seal. It is easily upset when attempting to put the valve covers back on

They could have also snapped one of the valve cover bolts (soooo easy to do). Usually corner ones snap too of course.. Goodluck get that fixed i hate oil leaks!!
