Mitchell, the FR 500 wheel can be had from the Ford Motorsports catalog, but I found http://www.mustangparts.com/ppi_interior_exterior.html had the best price at around $170. You will need to get the horn button parts from a Mustang as the Taurus one is a little different, but will work in a pinch, but not for very long. Also the Taurus airbag will fit as well as the rear shroud on the wheel. I helped a friend of mine install one of these in his car and I'll be getting one later on this summer. Its very nice and is much thicker than the stock wheel.

WOW. I mean, dayum...

Who said beauty and brawn were mutually exclusive needs to be dragged out in the street kicking and shot. Nice.

Can I add a humble suggestion from a humble(r) artist?

I noticed how the cage bracing and inner door have the red on them. A nice subtle touch would be to add a red accent piece in the horizontal seperation line in the center of the dash (below the vents). It would visually tie the interior together. I've done something similar to this with a self-adhesive 3/8" chrome strip on my 2G Vulcan, like so...

Not that I have a bias or anything... ;) A nice touch to add some visual fire.

Just a thought. Really diggin' it.

Wasn't that console Gray at one time? :D ;) Honestly, that interior looks great.... engine bay so-so :dribble: What a car, Kurt has done it again :thumb:

One suggestion... add an autodimming and compass mirror out of a newer GM. They are such a nice upgrade vs. the oem ford mirror. Oh and make sure to insure that car for additional value based on the money invested in the car. Don't let happen to you what just happened to me in my 93. See sig.

I love that interior. Kurt is that 500 wheel plug and play or does one need to do something to make it fit properly and have the airbag work?

Luigisho, I made a post about it above, about what a friend and I had to do to get it to work in his car. Kurt bought the car with the wheel already, so I'm not sure what he may know about installing one.

Kurt, great progress on the car. It looks absolutely fantastic. I watch these posts like a hawk since I was VERY close to purchasing that car myself, went for the blue 95 instead. Check your PM's.
