Interior light question

So everybody is familiar with the little led lights in the cubbys in the console right? Is there a way to get them to stay on after the car is running? Just to help see what's in there. My GF drives the SHO and has a hard time seeing the ashtray in the cubby. And please no don't smoke in it jokes or comments lol.

In options under lighting. Pick what color you want. It will stay on while driving. If you turn it off, it will stay off while driving and only turn on when car door is opened or you just got it.
I always have mine off, unless i feel like Chucky may be behind me. Then i turn it on. Oh how i am forever scarred by them movies

Recently swapped back to mytouch from sync 3.

On mytouch/sync 2

Under settings/vehicle/ambient lighting.

Bottom left power button on screen. Off = no light when driving. On = Yes light when driving

Well mine is set up like that, but no lights when driving. After I messed with it they stayed on for a bit, But not at all now. Oh well, I'll mess with it later.

GF said they were working fine on the drive home. She could see lol. Thanks for the info.
