Interior differences between gen1 and gen2

I can verify 100% they are diff.
I found out the hard way when installing a G2 in my G1.
The G2 is longer and dips down towards the center.
To make it look better I had to shorten it.
But the 'dip down' is still there.

Sorry to resurect the dead, but I'd really like to see a gen I dash in a gen II ... it could be done, most of the wiring is the same.

If you did that, you'd probably have to swap door panels too so everthing lined up. Doing that would require changing the interior handles as well.
