intercooling a stock sho

i was wondering if you could intercool a stock sho. if so how is this done and what do i need to do it?

Um, intercoolers are for turbo/supercharged cars to cool the compressed air coming out of turbo or supercharger.

Without the heat of compression, there's really nothing but ambient temp air which an intercooler wouldn't help you with.

i know what it is for but i was wondering if i could do it to a stock one would it help with hp or torque or anything.

Nothing the stock air box will give you. Would just be an extended cold air intake, which the stock box pretty much already is. Theres nothing really to intercool on a stock car.

An intercooler would hurt your HP and TQ on a stock SHO. You can not cool the air below ambient temp since theambient air is what is used to cool the charged air. Sorry, but you say you know what it is for, but it seems there is some confusion on your part.
