intake stripping question?

i have a question want to do my 2nd intake painting project just wondering can i sand blast the intake? or do i have to use something else like glass bead or walnut shells thanks nick

Of course you can sandblast it, just be very very sure you get all the sand out before running the intake. I hear the best results are from bead blasting.

Go right ahead , no harm there.

The only thing thats touchy is one of the valve covers (if you do them) , sand will get stuck in the PCV "compartment"

ok thanks i have access to a small cabinet sand blaster that he runs sand threw so will have to try that
