i just got my SHO running not long ago. so the list of mods is long still. i plan on getting a bigger maf and maybe throttle body if needed. i also am gonna get a ported intake. but my question is. is there anything i can modify on my stock intake to get a slight bit more power till i can buy all of the goodies

Nope.. I would just stick to your guns on the acid porting and BBB's.. you can also gut the air box and get rid of the silencer cone. I wouldn't do the TB unless your hearts set on it. And i would stay away from a maf till you can get a tweecer.. i had a 70mm on my for a while and while i felt it pulled alittle better down low.. With a few WOT pulls i averaged 250 to about 14 gallons or so....

true...you can buy cams, MAF, tweecer, PnP intake, BBBs, and that cute lil AIT sensor mod and maybe pick up 25hp at the wheels...or spray that biznitch and have some real fun.

The throttle body is not much of a restriction for N/A engines. Cheap mods is removing the silencer. You may gain 5hp, but you will have 25hp of induction noise. At 73hp per liter stock, it difficult to gain a lot of power without going to NO2 or FI. However, a good LPM or Tweecer tune can go a long way in making the car drive better with a more responsive engine and smoother power curve.
