KeystonePowderCoating said:i'm bringing this thread back from the dead because I need to know the dimensions to fab-up a block off plate so a atx intake will work on a 49 state 3.0 engine.
I need a very quick reply and possibly a picture of a 3.2 rear plenum.
I always thought there was just 1 location on the rear plenum / drivers side.
It is somewhat oval in design and is noticeable even on the 3.0 49 state intakes, however these intakes are not drilled / tapped. I have a few spare 3.0 49 state intakes that I can use to trace the oval design, but how about the location of the holes. How far apart are they, etc..
Please reply as soon as possible.
Thanks.

The biggest difference between them is the tapped ****** on the driver side of the rear plenum for the exhaust gas recirculation flow path AND a tapped mounting ****** on the back of the rear plenum for the EGR pressure sensor that is on the 3.2L and California market 3.0L engines, but not on the 49 state 3.0L engines.

The crossover tube has the DIS located a little bit differently also, I believe.
