intake gaskets

does ford offer an intake gasket set or do i have to get a felpro one? also does anyone know of a place to buy them separately instead of in a set? i also need to get a spring bolt kit and donut seal. anyone know if ford has those?

The Fel-Pro set comes with the lower intake gaskets, runner gaskets, and throttle body and IAC gaskets. The Fel-Pro set is a bit pricy at $72.00, but Fel-Pro is the best gasket around. If ford carried one (which I doubt) I'm sure it would be fel-pro. And if they did have a motorcraft set, I'm sure it would be like $200.00 anyways so it's really your only option. You can't buy them seperatley.

just bought 2 sets

the valve cover sets are 81.79 each

-if you are removing the intake as an assy as most people do, you just need the two gskts where the runners bolt to the lower intake. they are avail. from ford. retail 33.78 for the pair. if you need more, most are still availiable thru dealerships as individual gskts, not sets. and no, they are not fel-pro......

Yeah but from ford you don't get the whole kit, plus Fel-Pro is the good sh#t. Also I meant that Fel-Pro doesn't sell individuals sorry.

i took my intake completely apart in order to paint it and i am ready to put it back together except for those gaskets. the felpro sets include the intake to head gaskets correct?

yes it has the 2 black metal gaskets and all the gaskets for the butterflys and runners
