So i need to relocate my vehicle and need to figure something out. Since both motor mounts are on the passenger side, the motor hangs down on the driver's side without the trans... Would it be safe to tow the car like this? I'm thinking of welding a plate to a pipe so i can bolt the plate to the trans side of the motor and onto the subframe... Need to relocate the car into a garage since mothr natural is getting bitter and cold out here!

TIA

We have used wood ( like a 2 x 4 ) and ran it under the oil pan. Just istall the subframe, push up slightly on the motor and slide the wood above the crossmember. I have also left the engine hanger on, and removed the hood to have one transported.

I did not move them far, and both were on a flat bed. It was on a NON-SHO tauri both times too. I would double check that it will clear on a SHO.

Also be careful with the front hubs. The front wheel bearings depend on the CV and axle nut preloading the bearing, so if you can find some old, ruined half-shafts and pop the end off you can bolt up the front hubs so that they'll roll without damaging the bearings.

Yep,
Or get some large bolts/nuts/washers, 3/4" will do, I use 1" stuff. The 2 halves of the inner bearing race will spread out and that can damage the front bearings.
