installing new shift boot

I just bought a new shift boot and was wondering if anyone could let me know how to install it. It's a cool looking boot that goes perfectly with my interior. I have a tan interior and the boot if tan and black. How do I get into the console?

You have a 95 right? What kind of boot is it? Elastic on bottom? Snaps? Screw in?

To take the console out, take out the rubber cup holder liner, and remove the 7mm hex screw. The pop open your arm rest, and remove the 2 screws at the top. Then all the rest you have to do by force. There are series of little clips along the sides that you can't see. All you have to do is pull up gently on these areas where you feel resistance.
