The ford's part # MES3344 does't fit. The thread is inside, should be outside. Does someone had similar problem? Where can I get the right one? What is the right part#? :madflame:

Dunno the part # but I replaced mine about a month ago with MOOG. I got them at O'Rielleys.

I'm with stupid. I got Moog inners and outers for both sides from RockAuto. They fit perfectly, and the outers are much better than stock, IMO (greasable!)

For my 99 SHO, ford Part number MES-3344 has a female threaded end which attaches to the Rack. My SHO has male threads. I changed out the Inner Tie rod two years ago and had the same problem, but neglected to write down the part number. Bad road conditions has taken its toll on that Tie rod, and I now need to replace it again. Does anybody else know of the correct part number for this odd ball? I'm assuming Ford only produced a few of these with this configuration, since everywhere I check, the wrong part is listed.

Thanks. My local parts store uses MOOG as a distributor. That part EV328 from that store was a FEMALE end. I'm not sure what the mess up with this part is. Anyway, I got the part from FORD. THey had an alternate part number ($97.00 mind you) which was the correct part. Only problem was, it comes as a 'Kit'.... containing 2 tie rods. Not really a problem, now I have a spare.
