the knucklehead i bought my 94 mtx for whatever reason removed and then lost the inner fender on the passengers side, does the regular gen 2 taurus inner fender fit the sho?

According to Rock Auto replacement splash guards fit:

FORD TAURUS GL (1992 - 1995)
FORD TAURUS L 1992
FORD TAURUS LX (1992 - 1995)
FORD TAURUS SE 1995
FORD TAURUS SHO(1992 - 1995)

So yes, at least for other second gens.

I put 2 on my car (one on each side), so yes, they definately fit.

Yes, they are the same.

Realize, that most parts on the Gen I/II/III are [cough] regular [/cough] Taurus parts. For all practical purposes, the SHO is a Taurus with some SHO stuff added to create the Taurus SHO. That's why there's little difference in the value of the SHOs, despite the uniqueness of the car.
