in need of spindle assembley 97 sho pass side

hey all
im looking for a spindle assembly for a 97 sho 3.4 pass side . by the looks of it i thought it was a bad boll joint but when i wiggle the tire it looks like its has a lot of play in that area i beleive its a ball joint and with spindle assmely any suggestions thanks tony

hit up the junkyard any gen3 tarui or sable should be fine. good luck

If you just need the ball joint, why not just get a new one?

Spindle or ball joint? I believe that the 96-99 spindles are all the same between Taurus/SHO/Sable but my suggestion was to get a new ball joint. If you go to www.rockauto.com, you can search for your vehicle (97 Taurus SHO), go to suspension and find the ball joints by themselves. I believe that they are less than $50 each.

Just a friendly tip; this thread was posted in gen1/2 suspension/brakes, etc- if you had posted it in the gen3 section for 96-99 SHO's, it may have gotten some better responses. I hope that I was able to help though.

wait didnt i jsut say the same thing why yes i did i will repeat. ALL GEN 3 SABLE, TAURI SHO ECT are the same spindle wise. good luck

Might as well get a new wheel bearing and tie rod end too.
