Recently Ive been getting a creaking/groaning/sqeaking sound from around my right rear wheel. I think that its coming from there, but it only occurs while im moving so I cant be sure. I can only hear it at non-highway speeds (under 50), and it isnt constant, it comes and goes, but is there more and more recently. Its driving me friggin nuts. Its loud enough for me to hear with the heat+radio on and the windows up. I pushed on the car on all four corners and I got no noise. Any ideas? frown

most likely your strut mount. it's located at the top of the struts. might as well replace your struts while your in there if they haven't been done. to see if it is the mounts, kick the top of the tire in towards the car and see if you can hear the noise.

comon someone?
Could be strut mounts, or maybe a bad wheel bearing... Also, how do your rear brakes look?
My '97 makes a noise sometimes(like a groaning) but only at under 5mph... Dealership diagnosed it as the rear rotors being too thin.

Take the wheel off and inspect the wheel brakes, bearings and suspension components. We can see or hear it.
