and it hurts. Just a little.
Since I have a 3.2 sitting in the garage and big(ger) brakes and a GenIII rack and I need new bushings, why don't I just hunt down a 5 speed and a subframe and some suspension links and start building it all outside of the car? Then when I get ready to put it in the car, just have it all ready at once.
Is this a bad idea or a good? Sure I have to buy an extra subframe and tranny and some little bits and pieces, but I'm sure Tom has it all and is aching to sell it to me.
Oh, I have to reinforce another differential, but after all the practice I got on my last one and all the pics I took, that should be easy, right? Or is that the excuse I need to tell my wife I need $1300 for "a much safer differential?"
Crap, I'd have to buy a clutch too. Nevermind, dumb plan. Good talk. Glad you all talked me out of it. Carry on, nothing more to see here.
