closest guy I know of that will do it is Jared in Grand Island. he's the guy that al fitz has weld cams. or you could try and get at least 7 other people interested and have Northeast SHO do a camfest. A guy I was cool with in high school's parents own a flatbed truck company and they have a branch in KC. I haven't talked to him since I graduated two years ago. But, if you're interested I could see if they'd be willing to put it on the back of an empty truck coming back from KC and see if he would be willing to tow it out to grand island for you for the cost of fuel and to compensate him for his time. I thought about investigating the second half last summer when I was looking for a new car.
DIY jobs have been known to fail. With the different metal composition of the shaft and sprocket it would be best to let the professionals do the job. he might want the shaft so whoever he does let do the job can practice to make sure the voltage and speed is correct anyway.If you guys would like a spare cam to practice on, let me know your address via a PM.
