still getting a code 114 after changing iat sensor, what gives? and yes ive cleared codes

Are you still experiencing the same symptoms? The first response in your original thread was that it sounded like a vacuum leak and I concur.

If you're positive that you don't have any external vacuum leaks, you might have a burnt valve. A burnt valve is a vacuum leak. You did say it was down on power and wouldn't pull after 100...

My 90 had the same symptoms. It had sat with a bad head gasket for years before it was repaired and I think there was internal damage. I ended up just swapping the engine.

i also just replaced my spark plugs with cheap autolite single plat, i wonder if that has to do with the poor mpg and pinging ive been experiencing?

If the temp is below 50F that code will always show up.
