I need the size for the rivets for the door handle!!!!!!!

I had some issues with a ruined door handle
got ahold of another door handle
BUT
i can't seem to find the size of the rivet (they got torn apart upon removal)
and i can't find any big enough

i brought the door handle to menards and home depot and looked, but they didn't have anything that would fit

PLEASE HELP

need to get the handle re-attached before next rain or snow

On my 85 Tbird TC I replaced them with 1/4-20 hardware.
So I'd guess 1/4" to 5/16".

They're 1/4" rivets, and I can get you OEM rivets if you're really interested.

The second problem you're going to run into, is getting a rivet (gun) that handles 1/4" rivets. All of the "commercially" available rivet guns only handle up to 3/16 rivets. I remember seeing a larger riveter that handles 1/4" rivets at FastenAll last summer, and Harbor Frieght has two different riveters as well.
