The proportioning valve is in the back, with an arm mounted to the LCAs.

Could you take pictures of exactly which parts you're looking at?

I believe on ABS cars the lines go from MC to ABS, then to wheels (front) and proportioning valve (rear), but I tend to spend most of my time playing with the (relatively simple) '89 setup.

I have a parts '91. Anyone know if the '91 and '93 ABS systems are the same?

Yes its like a splitter at the front.

most of them and the lines Ive seen here , are in bad shape.

On my 2002 , that block is in 2 parts and its AWEFULLY similar to our shos. Might wanna give it a try. My 2002 has no ABS though , but like i said I bet 2$ that it fits.

I'll take a look at my '91 parts car when I get home and see what I can see.

So, on my '91 at least, looks like it's two lines out of the master cylinder into the accumulator, then four lines out of it. Of course, the car is a bit dirty, but doesn't sound like it's the same setup as the later cars. Sorry.

91 and 93 are the same.

Two lines from the master to the ABS assy, four lines out of the ABS assy that run through a "distribution block" for lack of a better term. From there, two lines go to the front wheels, and two go to the rear bias valve on the rear control arm, then from the bias valve to the rear wheels.

As Matt (frosho) mentioned, the four line distribution block at the front driver's side frame rail isn't necessary. Remove bad lines from ABS unit, remove distribution block, and plumb in new lines as needed. I'm sure the chief mechanic knows this, but NO compression unions in brake lines, flared unions only.
