I need a nut.

Hey all,

Last night my serpentine belt snapped and this morning I found out why. The nut holding the "wheel" on the tensioner came off. I need a new nut. Anyone know the size? Thread count?

Take the one off the other tensioner and go match it up at a parts store.

Parts stores carry ungraded hardware.
I believe that nut would be grade 8 or better.

I didn't think that the nuts were graded, only bolts and studs. But I could be wrong.

It's an M10 x 1.5, tightened to 25-37 ft-lbs.

I wouldn't worry about graded hardware for that.

No reason for that to be a graded nut. Whatever you can find that works.
