The trunk of my car is in constant use in attempt to perhaps prolong the life of my rear seats. The one thing that has constantly bothered me is the total lack of visibility provided by that crummy little bulb  So in effort to "shed some light" on the problem I utilized a spare inverter and 2 on sale cold cathode tubes. Kind of rice, I know, but it is 300x brighter than before :thumb:

Anyways, I think it looks cool  (pictures dont do total justice)

My question is how do you hook up subs and an amp to the stock stereo? I still have yet to figure that out?

If your amp has the feature use the rear speaker wires. I just tapped into the OEM wiring at the speakers and ran it down to my sub amp. There is no high Z line out.

I tapped the wires on the JBL woofer. All that ghetto wiring you see in the last picture is a relay rigged up to use the JBL speaker when the car is on accessory, and the amp & subs when it is on run.
