So I am logging maybe 5-6 degree drops in charge air temps when my water/meth system is injecting. (would attach logs but the forum won't let me). I am currently running a 370ml/min nozzle from Devil's Own. I think I need to upgrade to something like a 520ml/min nozzle but it looks like Devil's Own is either gone out of business or just isn't stocking any parts. Can anyone suggest another company for good nozzles? Lastly, where are you guy's injecting at in terms of in relation to throttle body and such.

I use 500cc jet between the map and the throttle body on. More so near the map but not where it'll spray it

100% methanol!? AEM specifically recommends nothing more than 50% meth with their kits. You know it burns clear and is very flammable right? That's ballsy

I use ProMeth nozzles.
What pump are you using? Have you tried to adjust the pressure settings?

Is devils own Capt? Is AEM V2 30-3300 a decent kit? Also many people say get the fail safe, does this kit have that? If not which kit does? I saw it separately and it was 239 bucks?!
I saw this kit for 329 to 459...?

What is your goal with meth? Use for cooling or additional fueling or both?

Devils Own and Snow Performance are decent so long as you plan to replace the pump every other year or so.

Jordan runs the AEM kit but is only using it for cooling so if it stops working, nothing will be hurt. With that being said, he does not run the fail safe.

If you want a top notch kit, look up the Alky Controls kit - this is what most of the top methheads recommend for our platform.

Correct! Only for cooling for me. Same tune with or without methanol and +1 for alky controls also

I wanted a progressive unit that works on WOT, is reliable, set and forget(and refill) using separate tank not windshield wipers, 50/50, 60/40 mix. I have GH intercooler, GH auto tune, CAI, sp542 @.028, 3 bar...live in NJ-sealevel and naples Florida-10 ft above sealevel....

The washer bottle works well as a reservoir and add an additional washer tank front of it. It's filled from up by the main washer tank

I have had prometh nozzles and hated them. A DO nozzle puts out a fine mist, the prometh nozzles are little more than streams of fluid.

The pump is a 300 psi pump, only way to alter pressure is to add a solenoid to reduce it.

15SHOPP, unfortunately decent brands like coolingmist and Devils Own have died off. Meth injection is not a big markey. Honestly I would go with a brand like AEM for the safety of them not going anywhere. As for Alky Controls, I have never heard of them before 4 posts above this and I have ran meth on every boosted platform i've owned since I was 17yr old. I'm sure they are a great company but clearly they are small. Small means they can easily die off and then you have zero support.

As for the fail safe, unnecessary unless you are subbing out fuel for methanol.

Nice to know before I set up my system! Just bought a D07 nozzle based off what I’ve seen (running a lower psi pump than you are skyshadow so output will be closer to 440ml/min). Thanks for the suggestion!

Goes to show you I shouldn’t listen to the friend who owns the meth injected N54 BMW hahaha

Devil's Own is a great company, but their owner lost a grueling battle with cancer a few years ago and his wife is trying to keep his legacy going but not having much luck. They're local to you and me but very hard to get a hold of, and the last time I needed to get a new nozzle it took almost 6 months to get here since they are sourcing everything from China now.

Unfortunately we made the decision last year to switch all of our sourcing to AEM for meth kits, and we haven't encountered any issues thus far.

Alky Controls has been the standard for the 10yrs. I've been involved with this platform. The mere fact you haven't heard of them until this thread, could be due to the fact that you just joined the community within last few months.

Their owner Julio has been beyond exemplary in assisting customers over that time span.

Many will attest to stellar product and service/assistance.

I'd have to check his site, or speak to him directly to find out how long he has been in the business prior to my involvement, but suffice to say your presumptions of them being small, or somehow dying off, are likely short sighted at best. No offense.

AEM's good to for sure.

I would have the OP steer clear of/away from Snow Performance as there have been plenty of documented issues of inferior parts, sub par connecting joints that leak, as well denying warranty service, despite being within the warranty period. No thank you.

Good luck to the OP though moving forward!
