So I've been chasing a kr problem for over a week now, I've done everything from replacing coils to rechecking all of my intake piping, I even sleeved the lock sensor wire just in case. But under WOT only i hear an audible ticking noise and kr goes +4-5. Running out of ideas, I did have a bad upper trans mount which has recently been replaced but no dice. Is it possible the SSM mount could have been damaged while the top mount was out or does anyone have exp with false knock on ssm mounts? (I have ad ones on the way just in case). Exhaust clears the mounts, tried KAM reset, tightened anything that was loose. I can't replicate the noise in neutral or in gear reving, its specifically at WOT only.

Any help would be welcomed, thanks!

Who is the tuner?

Does it with all 3 tunes I have (different tuners). Talked with one of the techs here at my work, sounds like audible knock/detention to them which would line up with the o2 sensor codes. Having them swapped now, didn't have time to do it this weekend on my own.

Well it appears that I still have a small lingering problem with this p219a code. There at least isn't any knock at this point which is a huge plus but I still need to figure this part out. Has anyone had any experience with the P219a code?

Just bought a set of downstream O2's just in case, I'll try to swap those out tomorrow when they come in. In the mean time any insight would be helpful!

So, waiting for O2's to come in I decided last night to run some injector cleaner through the system and let the car run for about 45 mins (roughly) on and off. Cleared the codes before I left work and so far it hasn't come back and the car seems to run a tad better. The p219a code started to come back pretty much every time I drove the car after clearing prior to cleaner going in. My plan is to run maybe one more tank with cleaner and send a log to the tuner.

Where do you introduce the cleaner into the system?

I used an in tank cleaner, but its only been about a day since I put it in. Crossing my fingers that it solved the problem but I guess only time will tell.

Side note: The P219a code covers pretty much anything that could possible be wrong which is such a pain in the ass. Covers vacuum leaks to misfires to fuel system (LPFP/HPFP/Injectors) so its really hard to narrow down anything which is why I'm just pursuing everything.

Update: Code popped this morning on my way into work but did go much longer before coming back. Tuner narrowed down P219a code to a fuel issue, either going to be the other o2 sensors or its going to be injectors it sounds like. I'm hoping it isn't going to need new injectors and they are just dirty but we will see over the next couple tanks of gas with cleaner. Worst case they are burnt out and I just swap them out with the DW injectors and move on.

Alrighty time for another update!

Went a few days of good driving with no lights until friday last week, stupid p219a came back and at this point I'm ordering injectors and moving on. With the power goals I have and where I'm at I won't be pushing passed stock injectors so I got a whole set from rockauto for about $200. Parts should be here at the end of the week and I'll get them in shortly after I have them and hopefully this takes care of it.

So I've been watching fuel trims and o2 sensors like a for the last couple weeks and i can't seem to find any difference while driving. However I did come across something interesting that could be linked to this devil of a code. I noticed my idle vacuum seems to float around -7.9 - -8.5 instead of the -10.5 - -11 it used to be at. I know I've moved that hard vac line around a times and I'm taking a stab and thinking it may be a vacuum issue which is one of the listed causes of the p219a. Once my part gets here I'll swap it out ans let you all know.

if you have a vacuum pump pull the line off at the top of the intake and put -15 on it and see if it holds.
