I am in Tigard, OR. Anyone somewhat local to me? I just picked up a 91 SHO thats needs the classic SHO tlc. Such as suspension noises, valve cover gaskets, etc. I buy the parts is anyone interested in helping me? I can't do the work at my place since its an apartment. Just pressure washed the engine and now it missfires as expected so tune up time soon!

Not close to ya but welcome in!1st gen, I always say you got the one.Lots of great people here and Im sure someone will be willing to give a hand, as long as your not going to do 6500rpm launches for fun afterwards, unless your ends are endless.Good luck!

There are a lot of people in the local area. SHOsource.com is based in Vancouver.

You most likely need to pull the spark plug boots and dry out the plug wells with compressed air. It will start running better. FYI, I don't recommend pressure washing a SHO engine. Too many bad places to get water.

Thanks guys! I am actually headed to vancouver today to get some parts at cost less auto parts. I kind of expected the engine to miss fire after the pressure wash for the reasons shopartsnw mentioned. But it was dirty and I figured I would be tuning it up anyway and it needs new valve cover gaskets badly as they leak quite a bit. No wierd noises at all. This car is definately faster then my 98 CVPI with a 5.4 swap. CVPI = crown victoria police interceptor. Its also easier to park From the suspension sounds I have been hearing I need new strut mounts and struts and likely lower control arms. I also need to replace the outer passenger side tie rod. My rear suspension sounds like I have a few chains dangling and and bouncing around when I hit a bump hard. I am hoping I can meet up with some of the local SHO guys, I love my CVPI but most if not all of the NW members are located about 4 hours north of me.

I will be moving to the Milwaukie area Nov. 24th from Northern Minnesota and to make my trip I unfortunately had to sell my '93 ATX to fund it so I guess do any of you guys have anything for sale. maybe like $1000-$1500 ish. Doesn't have to be anything special just something that runs and drives and won't blow me up lol.

lol i would prefer red or white naturally but i am open for any green SHO as long as it is not a spoiler-less 92 lol. As long as i can get one when i get out there Nov. 24th i am a happy camper.
