is there a way to stick the secondaries open? and if there was, what would happen? i reckon itd lose low end power?

i might try it... once its firing on all 6 cyl lolIt will lose more power than you will like. Low end torque is iffy enough.
There is a vacuum line that closes the secondaries after start up until 4k rpms. You can disconnect the hose at the intake, plug the hole with something easy to take out and see if you like it. IIRC mileage goes way down as does low end torque. Try it and report back.
Ive tried it, you feel like it loses alot of torque because it prioritizes the short runner to the long runner and you lose intake volume. Naturally aspirated needs more intake manifold volume before the valves to add low end torque. Thats why carburetor spacers are made and high rise intake manifolds. All adding volume. I really like this. If I had money I would look at a swap into a lighter vehicle. That running engine/t ranny on a pallet in the classifieds is temptingYour best bet is to ask blue turd if he has one laying around or knows a good shop to modify yours. Or find a lightweight car to put the engine into like an rx7.
