does overcast humidity play a role on an SHO running a little ruff. i have basically brand new wires and plugs. so my guess is that moisture had shorted out the computer or the CPS a little bit.
it runs fine when its dry out and i know as of today my water pump is not leaking. just wanna see if this is a legit question

I would doubt that humidity alone would do it. Does it run better after it is heated up when any condensation that could be humidity related, burns off? You may want to spray all your electrical connections with electrical contact cleaner or wd-40.

friend of mine said with the extreme amount of moisture we've been getting around here lately it could be vapor lock and some dry gas in my take would help. i had a similar problem last year but i changed the plugs and wires and it was fixed. it only did it on one rather steadily inclining hill this morning and didnt do it after that on any other inclines.

vapor lock has nothing to do with moisture in the air, (I think). It is a result of fuel in the fuel line of a carbureted car (lower pressure) getting too hot and boiling in the line. I don't believe it is a concern with FI engines. And high humidity during warm weather shouldn't cause water in your gas. It is the result of cold humid are condensing in nearly empty fuel tanks. If you are getting water in your fuel in july, I would look for a new place to gas up.

But a bucks worth of alcohol in the tank can't hurt things any.
