How to test if cam sensor is bad?

Does anyone know if there is a way to check if your cam sensor is bad? I'm pretty sure mine has gone out but I would love to know for sure so I'm not just buying parts for no reason. Thanks.

Hard starts can be a good indication.

Your tachometer will not work properly or not at all. Does your tach jump to 400rpm while cranking the engine?

You just need to start searching the forum with all these threads you keep bringing up. This stuff has been discussed over and over. Have you even checked your fuel pressure...

Check for EEC memory code 19.

No, oddly enough the difficulty starting seems to have gone away. I still have hesitation/surging/bucking at steady throttle though.
