How to tell if SARC struts are bad?

I have a 96 SHO with 48K on it. It seems to float a lot at speed and does not have much dampening on bumps.

How do you tell if the struts are bad? Can you do it yourself?

I would pull the fuse in the fuse box that's called the Semi-Active Suspension and see if there's a noticeable difference after doing that. You'll notice the steering wheel is a lot harder to turn also.
If there's a noticeable difference (a lot stiffer ride) then your struts should be ok. If it doesn't feel too much different, they are going bad.

I thnk he was asking how to tell if they were bad, not if the SARC was working. Check for OIl under the dust boot
