Ive got a spare SLO hood that I want to put onto my 92 SHO. However, I dont have the money right now to have it painted to match and put on, not to mention the whole front of my car is pretty much done for cause its got so many rock chips and nicks and scratches, etc. Anyways, I've always liked the look of a flat black hood so I was just wondering, what is the best way to prep the hood so I can give it a nice flat black rattlecan paint job? And any tips on painting??

yes, my freind had one on his 93 SHO. Looks pretty good cause it has two subtle creases down the center.

in an older sportcompactcar magazine i have laying around, they painted an STI WRX with black krylon spray paint, when i get back to my dorm i'll try and look it up, it looked kinda cool.

but then again, it was an STI :dribble:
