2013 PI so it has springs capable of off roading and designed to have several hundred pounds of tactical gear in the trunk as a normal load.

In the '60s and '70 I would have been looking for More rake but now I just want to see what is behind me.

The height change between the front of the door bottom cladding and the back of the same line at the rear door is ~3.5 inches. Visual gap between the tire and fender lip is 1.2" front and 3" rear.

The problem is rear vision--at 6' 3" and the seat all the way up to gain downward vision cars still disappear behind the tail. At night if a car is close can only be determined by the light reflected from the window heater wires and how close by the width of the reflections. A car behind me in stop and go traffic is a rear view mirror and top of a windshield.

I really want to keep the suspension functional as built mostly and am wary of changing the spring rate on only one end. Cutting coils off the straight wound end would seem to be one alternative. PI rear springs

Why not put a rear view camera that can be always on?

Biggest problem is depth perception at the right rear. Can't see the car directly, reflections on the wires are odd on the corner, mirror really reduces the night time image and the blindspot light will let you pull over only a few feet on front of someone at speed in the rain.
It is making me feel like a bad driver :(
Drove the 740 in the same conditions last week and it was like being surrounded by glass without a blind spot in comparison.

Well cut a coil and it wasn't enough to make much difference. Cut another half and now the spring is too short to stay seated on the perches.
Does anyone who went to H&R have their stock set laying around that they would be willing to sell?
