The last couple of days in almost 100 degree heat my AC worked for about 15 minutes and then stopped blowing hot air. I also noticed that with the Tach would hang give a couple of blips on acceleration in first. Anyway I drove it yesterday very gently and didn't seem to have a problem. My guess is the AC clutch..any ideas
I have had a replacement climate control laying around for a couple of years. My buttons are shot on the old one. I haven't the foggiest idea how to switch it out. How do I remove the old one?

Thanks

The unit in the dash comes out like the newer car stereos. There are a set of two holes on each side with clips behind them to attach to the dash. You can buy a cheap removal tool from any autoparts store or try to make one from wire like an old hanger.
