Ok first things first... this one is more of a question how does one get the Gen III Sho to sound similar (from a laypersons standpoint) to the exhaust on say a Mustang GT? not the fancy ones mind you, just the good ol 4.6 liter GT's is it possible?
Second...
How does one find a hood with a scoop built in...idealy one similar in stature to the one used on the late Mercury Cougars or going over to the GM side the Camero SS's, you know something subtile, but still enough to give the car some attitude....
Input suggestions and anything else please.....

As for the exhaust, most people have commented that the 40-series Flowmasters produce a pretty substantial "Ford V8" sound.

As for the hood scoop, I think that you pretty much have to go custom- you're gonna have to graft one in yourself or let a reputable body shop loose on it.

Ok, Thanks.. will the 40's alone get to that deeper throaty sound? Who is good with photoshop can anyone graft a cougar scoop onto the SHO hood for an idea of what it would look like?

I have the Bullet mufflers with my res and 3rd cat still in. It's louder than a factory GT and some modified. If you're looking for performance I would go with bullets but for sound get the 40's, they're pretty loud. Go to www.V8SHO.com they have some sound clips of exhausts and reviews over different mufflers.

As far the hood goes, custom is the only way.
