Alright, I have some issues with my tranny as I talked about in another post. One of my possibilities is to just swap tranny's. I know someone who has a transmission for sale with about 55k on it, give or take a few miles. I absolutely trust this guy so I take his word that it only has 55k. My question is, how much is it worth, or better yet how much should I offer for it? I'm really not sure what to offer as ATX tranny's aren't a common part.

Rainman says: About a hundred dollars. Ya, definately a hundred dollars.

Dr. Eeevil says: One Hundred BILLION dollars.

rev2sev says: $750-$1000...since you trust him so much. Otherwise, a core is $350.

Yeah, but shipping would probably **** me.

This guy has another working ATX tranny with like 140k on it for around $200.

Shipping would be around $250. My name speaks for itself. The tranny would not fail for a very long time. Mine has well under 100K. $300 for a ATX with under 100K is a steal. 140K is on the verge of a rebuild.
