How much $ would it be to install a remote keyless entry system into my 93 SHO? I already purchased the kit, I just need it installed. I was gonna try and do it myself but it looks way to difficult.

i think when i was shopping for mine, circuit city wanted something like, 80 bucks (at least) to install it.

I had a friend that worked at a car audio shop do it for 20 and a can of pepsi.

I'd say, look to spend at least 75 bones...these things can be kinda tricky.

If your car has the key pad on the door it's a snap to snag and install a factory keyless remote setup off a 94/95 and wire it to your existing ford harness. I did that in my 91 and it looks all stock even with the key fob. That was free, but I'd guess you're going to drop like $100 for an install with an aftermarket?

I had Best Buy install my keyless entry/alarm it cost about $150. Of course, I had them install the extra stuff that my keyless entry/alarm could do. It took them about a day to do.

My friend who used to work at an install bay said that keyless entry/alarms can be kind of time consuming but not overly difficult.

Doing it yourself can be hard. Ford uses a reverse polarity switch system. On my Taurus and my mother-in-laws Sable (both GEN3) I didn't have to worry about it, but I did a Ford van and I had to wire in a double relay set up so that the alarm would work with reverse polarity. If you do try it yourself let me know I have the relay diagram here.
