How much fluid?

How many Qts. of fluid will be required for a filter change on a 1994 ATX?

If you do the complete flush and filter change you will need 12.5 for the AX4S or 14 for the AX4N. Add two more quarts for flushing losses.

I would not just drop the pan and change the filter when a complete flush is so easy to do.

1. Disconnect ATX cooler hose on drivers side and put hose in a 5 gallon bucket.

2. Start engine and let idle until the flow just about stops.

3. Drop pan and change filter.

4. Pour in 10 quarts and start motor again and run until flow just about stops.

5. Connect hoses and add 4 quarts, run engine and check level with the car on a level surface, top off as needed.
