Like the title says I'm wondering with a garage and all the tools needed handy what's the avg. time hrs/days for the job? Also is there anyone who has proof that the 89-92 motors have thinner walls than the 93-95. Just wondering since the motor in my SHO is fine and I a have motor that's 3.2mtx ready(3.2 block, 3.0 heads, intake mani, just need a few more parts) in my music room waiting to find it's new home. If there are no consequences to be had I'll throw the 3.2 block in the SHO then convert the 3.0-3.3

On a closely related note http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=70894

It took about 20 hours of labor. It actually took me about a month and a half but i had to wait for a oil pump to block gasket for 3 weeks

if its taking the old engine out and just bolting a new one in, yeah 2 weeks or about 20-30 hours of labor. Im doing mine right now and its going to have taken me about a month working id say every other day 4-6 hours a day but i rebuilt mine completely and am going crazy with it being perfect.:thumb:
