Um, depends on your definition of hard, it is easier than changing fuel injectors on a Navigator... but more difficult than pulling the motor out of a 67 'stang.

If you take your time and have the proper tools, and a mechanical background you could probably do it... But judging from the question itself you might wanna get somone who knows about SHO's to help you the first time around...

It's not bad. My hardest part was trying to get the CV axles out, I just ripped them apart and out of the way after figuring out that would be quickest way out.

Just look around and disconnect everything you see in the way! :biggrin:

I pulled my motor/tranny ATX combo out the top with a cherry picker. Wasn't that difficult at all. The easiest part was lifting it out. Took me about a day to disassemble everything down to just what I wanted to pull though.
