how do i put my axels back in a hook up my tranny?

when i bought my 90 sho it had no axels in it and the tranny isnt connected, the cables are off, how do i put teh axels back in and hook back up the tranny?>

I have a rod shifter, so i dont know about the cables. But from watching the clutch video, it looks like the drivers side axel clicks back into the trans with some force and gentle tapping. The passenger side slides into the trans. and is held in place by the bearing. Hope this helps.

While the axels are out it would be a good time to replace the axel seals. The axels should pop into the trans with little effort. Keep in mind that if the axels are out the trans is empty (or almost).

With the struts free of the lower ball joint they should be easy to pull out and back to allow the axels end to be slipped into the steering knuckle.

As for the shifter cables, look in a service manual for the attachment and adjustment proceedure (local library). rangerj
