Okay, I've looked at SHOTIMES write up. Can't really make too much sense of it. Sorry, but I can't. Can someone break it down for me?

Car will not start(does every once and a while)when I did get it running, ran with lack of power. Tried un hooking MAF, no help. Have SS Y-Pipe w/cats...don't think they are clogged but I don't know. I think it is something electric. Got fuel pressure, spark, and power. I need help here. Thanks

No, I mean with the paper clip or whatever. I can't get the car to AZ...I don't think I'd be able to start the **** after I shut her down. Gotta fight her to keep her from stalling too. Sucks, really nice SHO..giving me **** already.

I just shake my head. See those links at the bottom of my signature? Visit the Dali Design site for an excellent description of the test procedures and links to the code descriptions. See a good photo of the test jumper installation in the Midwest SHO link along with test procedures and the code descriptions.

Okay, maybe I am both blind and un-clear. What I really need to know is where the paper clip goes. I know its on the passenger side near the firewall. I know exactly where and what it is...Do I just throw a couple paper clips in there or what. I would like to know what holes it goes it. I've looked at all the sites provided and I don't see a description of that. Maybe I'm not understanding something, I dunno. headbang

FWIW for the folks who are interested in code readers, my local Checker auto parts (of all places) had a nice reader with an LCD display that would read and store the codes and then actually show the numeric codes on the display. In other words, none of this blinking LED stuff, just a nice three-digit code displayed on the LCD screen.

It knows how to initiate tests, tell (and indicate) the difference between KOEO, KOER, and continuous memory codes, will clear stored codes for you, etc., etc. Very nice little unit.

But most amazing of all, it was $34.99. I bought one, works great.

I just went to the MID-WEST SHO site and I should have went there from the start. I went to the DaliDesign EEC Testing and Codes and that is what I could not make any sense of. Midwest SHO was much more clear. Thanks for the help everyone. I will check my codes first thing tomorrow. Thanks again! thumb

Hopefully I get this foo running again.
