How do i clean the MFS?

I was told to clean the MFS contacts i was wondering how do i do this?:thankyou:

Do you mean the MAF sensor? If so just go to most any parts store n buy some,you guessed it,MAF sensor cleaner!!It,s pretty much the same thing as LDS contact cleaner.Pull the airbox cover off with the MAF undo the 3 8mm bolts,pop off the screen circlip and douche the hot wire in the small tube .Reverse the procedure to put it back together. TADA all done also clean the IAC with the same spray

To clean the MFS take it out of the car. Pry the end cap off and be careful to get the contacts out. Then clean the hard grease out of the cap end of the stalk. Rub down the contact bumps slightly with some sort of abrasive. Clean off and regrease with petroleum jelly.

For the rest of the switch get a can of WD 40 and spray in every opening and rinse the switch down. Then operate the switch in all it's functions. Keep doing this until the 2whole can of WD is gone. Then let it sit and drain off and you should be good to go.

OOOPs my bad you meant the multi function switch ( or 3 way switch as most ppl loosely refer to them as )
