how can u tell if your strut mounts are bad?

the reason why is i have such an annoying rattle in the rear end when i hit a bump.

that is a good indication of bad rear strut mounts. Others can be squeaking or creaking in the rear. Other causes can be bad endlinks and swaybar to body bushings.

Stick your head in the trunk and bounce the rear of the car.You`ll be able to tell if it`s the cups(on the tops of both towers)of the bars(underneath the car).

hey erik that time you were in my car, did the rattling sound liek strut mounts?
hopefully i can have soemone hold my trunk lid when i boucne the car. i am a clutz and gurantee that it will bang right off my head.
